One of such incidents in his life is, Sri G.N.Rao when he was not doing well in 1989 and 1990 he was in a condition where he could not succeed in any of his work and he was mentally disturbed. He always used to think that even after putting so much efforts in his work why he is not succeeding and what is the reason for his failure and he was in such a frustrated condition that he was always in dippression and never wanted to do any work. He became frustrated and stopped praying to the gods, he thought its foolishness to pray to gods and he was keeping mum. At that stage one day when he went to meet I.G. Communications Ramanadha Reddy in the year 1990-1991 in his presence five sisters came from Nagpur, who were the preachers of Shri Shirdi Sai Baba and they were distributing the books belonging to baba, and they also distributed one book to Sri G.N.Rao garu and told him to pray to baba, and said success would follow him.

Sri G.N.Rao took it lightly and kept quiet for sometime but when conditions were in such a state that he could not control he thought that he would take a chance and he would go to Shiridi and pray to Baba.On one fine morning Sri G.N.Rao garu left to Shirdi when he entered into Shirdi with out his knowledge his heart got filled up with happiness and devotion. He went to Shirdi to pray to Baba and express his problems before baba but after seeing Shirdi it was such an emotional & devotional situation that instead of expressing his problems before Baba he just prayed to Baba's Samadhi and came back.Later on after few days he saw that things were same and there was no change in his life and he was still facing problems,but there was always a ray of hope in his mind, a thought in his mind that one day Baba would solve his problems. So similarly again he went to Shirdi in the year 1993-94 along with his friends, to express his problem before Baba which were increasing day by day. There inside the temple he saw a tree and stood before it and wanted to catch the branch of the tree, immediately Security Guards came and threw G.N.Rao outside the temple.

Sri G.N.Rao felt very insulted and after few hours immediately he went into the temple stood near Baba's Samadhi, completed the 12 o clock aarathi and touched the Samadhi and felt inside his heart that he would never comeback to Shirdi and this would be his last visit and came out of the temple there he saw the branch which he wanted to catch was broken and fallen down and after seeing that G.N.Rao ji and his firends got shocked and thought that god exists and what mistake he had done and immediately he rushed into the temple and apologised before the Samadhi of Baba and took a decision that from today he would spread the name of baba by way of doing some social work in the name of Baba for the benefit of people and that was a incident which changed the life of the founder Sri Sai Sahaya Voluntary Organisation. From that day Sri G.N.Rao's life to took a different turn where his health, his business, his thoughts got changed he grew as a person as a social worker and as a preacher of Sri Sai Baba.

He started doing many social works in the name of baba, like distributing clothes, giving food for the children in the Orphanage Homes, giving money for the poor children who wanted to Study.he took a mission of developing and changing the minds of people in his circles who wanted to commit suicide and he could change many people from committing suicide. His thoughts were to get the people out from bad voices, bad thoughts, bad thinking by solving their problems and telling them to pray to baba and whenever they face any problem he asked them to pray to baba for two minutes and see the results. This motivation changed the lives of many people. Slowly a thought came in his mind to establish Sri Sai Sahaya Voluntary organization where he wanted everyone to be a member so that if each person can help another its more than praying and it will give lot of self satifaction to them. Finally in the year 2004 his dreams came true and the birth ofSri Sai Sahaya Voluntary Organisation took place and many people joined it and now every one is doing some help to the needy in their capacity and form. According to G.N.Rao, Baba might have not fulfilled all his wishes but his necessities were always looked after by Baba.

Sri G.N.Rao ji says that baba always says that

"LIFE IS A SERIES OF PROBLEMS SOME OF THEM ARE APPARENTLY UNSOLVABLE,DO NOT TRY TO SOLVE SUCH PROBLEMS, MEDITATE,REPEAT MY NAME ALL SUCH PROBLEMS SOLVE BY THEMSELVES"
